One of the easiest ways to save money on your family’s grocery budget is to buy in bulk when items you normally purchase are on sale.

Well, it’s almost apple season, so even if you don’t have a tree of your own to harvest this Fall, the prices are about to hit their lowest of the year. It’s tIme to stock up! And when you combine bulk buying with freezing ahead (like this delicious recipe does), it’s a great one-two punch to the budget monsters lurking in everyone’s lives.
